Chengdu Journeys runs small-group trips from Chengdu into the Tibetan highlands of Western Sichuan. We are a small team, we keep groups small, and we travel the routes we built.

How this started
After 39 countries and every kind of travel I could find, one thing kept making the difference: a local guide. Not just someone who gets you there, but someone who gives you the cultural link — who takes you into a place instead of past it.
So we want to start you in Chengdu and take you into the Tibetan lands — the snow mountains, the grasslands, the monasteries, and the stories behind them.

What is included is stated clearly, and what is not, is too. If a route is not right for you, we will say so rather than sell it.

Has lived and worked in both Europe and the United States, and stayed in western Sichuan because of the Tibetan highlands. Professional, and genuinely in love with the place. A career without a single bad review — every trip built around the guests.
Yinn（小颖）
Born in Wuhan and educated in Spain. She rides whenever she can and keeps coming back to the Tibetan highlands. Guests know her for monastery visits and the nomad camp.
