Do I need a guide who speaks my language?

Our city walk runs in English by default. Spanish and Thai guides can be arranged on request — just tell us your dates and language when you enquire.
Is this walk suitable for children or older travellers?

Yes. It is a gentle two-hour walk on flat city streets with plenty of stops for tea and rest. There are no steep steps, though the temple courtyards have some uneven paving.
What happens if it rains?

The walk runs in light rain and we adjust the route to stay under cover where possible. In the event of serious weather we will reschedule or refund in full.
Can I join if I have dietary restrictions?

Absolutely. Tell us in advance and we will arrange alternative snacks — the butter tea can also be swapped for sweet tea, which contains no dairy in the way butter tea does.
How do I get to the meeting point?

We meet at Gaoshengqiao Metro Station Exit G, which is on Line 3. Your guide will be holding a Chengdu Journeys sign. We will send the exact location on WhatsApp the day before.
